The information you find on this website has been given to us by Wendy Fox who was the Chairperson of BADA-UK. Wendy knows only too well the health problems that can arise from being bitten by an infected tick. Sadly BADA-UK had to close last December after 10 years of raising awareness about ticks and tick-borne diseases. This was due to various reasons, one of which was a deterioration in Wendys’ health. You can follow Wendy’s story here and help her raise much needed funds to get a specialised wheelchair, which would enable her to leave her house, and have a much better quality of life. She has helped hundreds of people over the years, and it would be fantastic if people could now help her.
